We are inviting organisations involved in the heat transition in Scotland to take part in an online survey about the different approaches and activities that have been used to engage the public about changing their home heating system to low-emission systems.

This includes activities completed, underway or planned. It also includes activities organisations might be aware of, or think should be happening.

The short, confidential survey is being carried out by Ipsos, an independent research organisation, on behalf of ClimateXChange. It takes up to 5 minutes to complete.

The survey will close on 24 July 2024.

Informing government strategies

The findings of the survey will be used to inform planning and decision-making on where the Scottish Government and its partners should be increasing messaging, engagement and support.

They will directly inform the development and implementation of actions from the Scottish Government’s Heat in Buildings Public Engagement Strategy.

Questions and support

If you have any questions about the research, please contact Anne-Marte Bergseng from ClimateXChange.

If you need any assistance completing the online survey, please contact the research team by emailing the Ipsos Survey Manager, Colin Hockaday
